Rob First Day Here

This is a new place for me. I want to touch you. I mean virtually, through my music.

I'm really a normal every day guy but what is inside is unexplainable. Every day I walk around and look at things, even other people, and wonder if they see and feel what I do. Will you be there when I close my eyes? If that stranger I see on the bus stop closes her eyes when I do, do we fall into the same place behind our eyes?

Gotta go. I think I feel

sanjay mehra ME FIRST AND ONLY

I was reading this morning about how it is not uncommon now for people to make uncalled for demands on their hosts and friends because they place their own needs first. Apparently it is called being a Control Freak and nobody now thinks it is absurd.

Well I beg to disagree. Uncalled for demands which b

David Beginning thoughts on online communites

All one can do is try. Haven't yet figured this OpenSocalStuff out. My students try to convince me that FaceBook is the cat's pajamas. But it is so focused on schools and youth that it drives me away. Open social isn't organized enough for me to get a sense of where it's going. No doubt, in some ways, it has to go where its users take it, but I suspect it will mainly be shaped by the developers coding applications. If so, listen up. Here's a problem that begs for a simple solution. As I underst… Continue

Donna Holdsworth (Pick Me, Inc.) About Donna Holdsworth & Pick Me, Inc.

I started my web design business, Pick Me, Inc., in 2001. Networking with others in related fields, such as Esther Kane of Eckweb and Kathy Blanton of Ameribiz , really helped my business get off the ground floor. A few years later Esther hooked me up with a great graphics designer, Paula Moore, and we teamed up on projects under t…

Esther Kane Magical Mysterious SEO

Anyone out there who performs Internet Marketing and / or Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services for their clients knows all too well that dazed look of confusion that comes over their clients' faces as they begin the process of explaining what needs to be done on an Internet marketing campaign.

As if this "whole thing" is some type of magical mysterious entity.

You know what? It's just marketing. Plain and simple.

It may be performed in a different way, it may be… Continue

Erik Cederberg My first post

This is my first post on OpenSocialStuff.com :-)

I think that this site has great potential with google as
the founder and it got much nicer user agreement than
facebook that claims the right to all your text and pictures forever...

The possibillity with the in-site upload for video and pictures
and music makes it much easier to add multimedia
content to your page and reduces the ocean of dead links
that some of the other pages have.

Scotty Networking Platform Woes.....

The fundamental problem facing Orkut, Friendster, LinkedIn and the other social-networking also-rans is that people don't want to sign onto a dozen different social networking sites to keep up with all their friends. They want to sign up with a single site and see updates for all their friends in one place. As long as each social networking site is a walled garden, only allowing users to connect with other users on the same site, the largest sites will have a huge adv

Webmaster Facebook and Opensocial

"Many pundits have been saying that OpenSocial means trouble for the Facebook Platform and the coming-soon MySpace Platform, but that’s not necessarily true. There’s nothing to stop Facebook from adopting OpenSocial and leveraging its tools. We think it’s far more likely we’ll see pigs sprout wings, but it could happen. Rather than a competitor to Facebook, Google’s OpenSocial simply reveals the limitations and lock-in of Facebook for what they are — an attempt to corral and control your data an… Continue

Byron Rode A new Social Network, New API to Play with and Things are looking good

Well what do you know. I knew Google had to come to the game at some point.
Lets see how far this will go.

The API. I cannot wait for the documentation, keen to start building some things.
First things first. TWITTER. I plan to integrate twitter into this, allowing others to add tweets, view tweets and much more. Hmmm.

Barry In the begining

White rabbits. Pinch punch first of the month.
#88 out of over 6 billion, Feels good to be at the front of the queue for a change. Just hope it all doesn't go horribly wrong.
You'll probably see some awful dross here but it will be my dross so no apologies, you don't have to read it, right?
Going to my mums today to put in some fence panels.
My sister the vicar will be there on a flying visit.
What joy awaits.

Timmo Kimmo Applications..

I just sent in my first application today. It was so nerve wracking. I wonder, if I'm nervous about a college application, what do African children get nervous about? School's a privilege and well, all most of us do is bitch and moan about it. We're getting opportunities that they dream about and a lot of kids throw that opportunity away. What. the. fuck. Be grateful guys that we have all of this. Let's see if you pass up school if you switched places with one of those African children.
